At certain times of the year, it may be possible to arrange for you to access your accommodation at La Manga Club slightly earlier or with a later departure, but we cannot guarantee this.

Air Conditioned accommodation at La Manga ClubIn high season, air-conditioning is standard in most properties at La Manga Club and is included in the price you pay for all accommodation.

Emergency calls within La Manga ClubShould you or any of your party require an ambulance or any emergency medical treatment, please contact the main Club switchboard or Security, who will be able to assist. The telephone switchboard operators and/or your on site management company speak excellent English.

Cashpoint machinesThere are cash points at Las Sabinas and the main road out of La Manga Club. At local banks you may be required to show your passport for any over the counter bank transactions.

Bed Linen & TowelsAll bed linen (sheets and blankets or duvets) and bath towels are provided in your La Manga Club accommodation, but you will need to take your own beach or pool towels unless informed otherwise. Alternatively beach towels may be hired – please enquire.

Bike HireBike hire is available through the La Manga Activity Centre. There are some great bike routes in and around La Manga Club to suit all levels of ability.

Car ParkingAll of the apartment and villa communities at La Manga have dedicated parking for your car. There is typically no central car park but each community will have an area or areas very close to your accommodation where you can park your car. There are security barriers in and out of La Manga Club so your car should be secure.

Deposit SafesThe majority of the self catering villas and apartments at La Manga Club do not have a deposit safe box installed, but a few do have a safe. If, on arrival, you find that the property in which you are staying has a safe, please refer to your Management Company, who will be able to arrange for you to access the safe during your stay.

Do I need a Car at La Manga Club?We do recommend that clients rent a car to really enjoy the benefits that the La Manga Club area has to offer. There are many numerous towns and local villages and some fantastic beaches at La Manga Del Mar Menor which are worth a visit too. You can arrange taxis but if you are flying into Alicante Airport or Murcia Airport the cost of car rental in comparison to a taxi transfer is sometimes nominal. Whilst you do not always need a car at the club unless you are staying in one of the outlying communities or want to drive to La Cala beach You may park your car rental vehicle very close to all accommodation.

Do I need a Passport for La Manga Club in Spain?You will need a valid passport with you for your visit to La Manga Club in Spain. Please ensure that your passport is valid for up to at least six months after your date of return. Some banks and shops still require you to show a valid passport when purchasing goods. The passport acts as photo identification in conjunction with your credit card.

Is there a Doctor at La Manga Club?Details of how to contact a Doctor should you need one during your stay at La Manga Club should be found in your apartment or villa information pack. If you need to make a claim against your holiday insurance for the cost of a Doctor’s treatment, please ensure you request a receipt of all payments made.

Does La Manga Club have a beach?La Manga Club has its own attractive small beach onto the Mediterranean Sea at La Cala; a cove set against a stunning backdrop of cliffs. During the summer months it offers a full range of facilities. There is also La Manga del Mar Menor, which offers some great sandy beaches, with calm warm water, within a 10 / 15 minute drive of the Club. La Manga Club beach is called La Cala beach and has a great seafood restaurant, aptly named La Cala Restaurant, which is open from the end of May until September. If you want to drive to the beach there is a parking area at the top of cliff with access to the beach via flights of steps which lead down to it. Please note that, without transport, it is a long (hot!) walk from the centre of the resort to the beach.

Drinking Water at La Manga ClubDrinking water. We do not advise you to drink water straight from the tap at La Manga Club. Bottled water is available from the supermarket. There are 2 supermarkets on La Manga Club, the larger supermarket close to the tennis centre offers free same day delivery service, so if you are stocking up on drinking water this service will certainly help.

Golf Competitions at La Manga Club in SpainGolfers with a handicap certificate can enter into the three weekly golf competitions at La Manga Club. These competitions are organised by the La Manga Club Golf Administration and are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We recommend that golf tee times are booked in advance.

Hair DryerYour accomodation at La Manga Club should have a hair / blow dryer, but if a hair blow dryer is an essential item for you, we would recommend that you take your own hair dryer, just in case!

Horse RidingThe nearest riding stables to La Manga Club are located just outside Los Belones which is only a 5 minute drive or so. Rancho de la Fuente has a great selection of about 40 horses to suit all levels of horse riding ability. Horse riding can be booked upon arrival, please visit the horse riding stables and chat to the staff who will let you know what horse riding activities are scheduled during your holiday. This will also give you a chance to discuss your level of horse riding ability and to see and meet the horses. Lessons can also be booked.

How big is La Manga Club?La Manga is like a small town, set in 1500 acres on the Costa Calida. The accommodation is set up like a big village, with about twenty different property communities. There is no main central area although Bellaluz Square has a selection of shops and restaurants and the Tennis Centre area has a good selection of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk.

How do I book golf tee times at La Manga Club?You can book your golf tee times, private golf lessons and the Golf Academy courses directly with the golf club at La Manga Club. There are 3 golf courses at La Manga Club, you need a handicap certificate to play on the South Golf Course, but you can play the North Golf Course and the West Golf Course without a handicap certificate.

How do I book the Football Coaching Academy at La Manga Club?The Football Coaching Academy at La Manga Club is suitable for children, both girls and boys aged up to 15. The La Manga Coaching Academy is open to both boys and girls and all ability levels. Coaching sessions are primarily designed to improve key footballing skills, however, the sessions are specifically fun orientated and stress the acquisition of social skills and confidence. This approach ensures that each child has a rich and rewarding experience, whilst learning and improving their footballing skills. There is the option to combine sport packages for those children wishing to participate in more than one academy in the same week. The academies run at different times so children can participate is as many different academies as they wish. How often is the accommodation at La Manga Club cleaned?Cleaning in the self catering villas and apartments is as follows: Your property will be cleaned prior to your arrival with fresh linen and towels. Reservations over 9 nights you will receive a mid stay fresh linen and towel change.

InsectsAs Spain is a very hot country, it is inevitable that there will be insects of some sort during your stay. We recommend that you take a good mosquito repellent with you and that you empty your rubbish bins at least once a day, in order to avoid an insect infestation. Please do NOT leave food out on display, which will encourage insects into the property. Insect powder can be purchased at both of the on site supermarkets which is very effective deterrent to insects.

La Manga offers a wide choice cuisine from Spanish, Italian to Chinese and Indian restaurants. Every restaurant at La Manga Club offers a childrens menu and will provide baby seats. There are also a number of snack / restaurant bars offering tapas and light snacks.

Rubbish DisposalRubbish Disposal at La Manga Club. Rubbish bags will be provided in each property and should be placed in the nearest green wheelie rubbish bin, or the storage cupboard marked “basura”. We recommend that rubbish bins in the accommodation are emptied at least once a day, in order to prevent an infestation of ants or flies.

Security at La Manga ClubLa Manga Club has its own 24 hour manned barrier security points, which are located at both entrances to La Manga Club. There are also regular security patrols around the resort and the local police can often be seen too. Security is of paramount importance at La Manga Club and has an excellent security record and includes regular checks and 24 hour CCTV in large parts of La Manga Club. The villas and apartments all have security locks and it is important that doors and windows are always locked securely when you go out.

Swimming PoolsSwimming Pools at La Manga Club. Most properties at La Manga Club will have access to a swimming pool. There are about twenty different accommodation communities at La Manga Club and most communities have at least one swimming pool, solely for the use of the guests staying in that community.

Tennis at La Manga ClubThe tennis centre at La Manga Club is renowned throughout Europe as one of the best of its kind. There are 28 tennis courts with all different types of tennis court surfaces available. The tennis centre is professionally staffed and is centrally located within the Club, within a short walking distance of many of the accommodation communities at La Manga Club. We would certainly recommend the luxury Los Olivos apartment community at La Manga as these are located closest to the tennis centre and within a few minutes walk to the tennis courts.

TippingTipping at La Manga Club in Spain is discretionary. If you eat at any of the restaurants at La Manga Club, a Service Charge would not usually be included in the bill and tipping is left to your discretion.

Travel InsurancePlease note that it is a condition of booking your holiday accommodation with us that you take out Travel Insurance for your holiday to La Manga Club.

What equipment will be in my property at La Manga Club?Equipment. All self catering villas and apartments at La Manga Club will have fully fitted and equipped kitchens, including a washing machine, iron and ironing board and a microwave, plus many will also have a dishwasher. Your accommodation at La Manga Club will include all equipment that you will need for a self-catering holiday. All bed linen and bath towels will be provided.

What extras are payable at La Manga Club?Our accommodation prices are fully inclusive there are no additional extra to pay such as taxes or fees. If you require extra equipment or services then these can be arranged and are charged at cost. We can arrange Welcome Packs, Arrival shopping deliveries, baby cots, highchairs and stair gates at an extra cost.

What happens if I have a complaint at La Manga Club?Please report any complaints in the first instance to your on site Management Company, details of which will be included in your Final Confirmation. They are on site and should be able to solve most complaints immediately.
